The Strength of a Testimony

1 John 5:9 (NKJV)

“If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater.”

There will be times when people do not believe our testimony about what God has done in our lives, and we cannot force them to accept our words. However, our faith does not rest on human approval; it rests on the testimony of God Himself. People may question our experiences, doubt our sincerity, or reject what we tell them, but they cannot change what God has declared to be true. Our testimony is simply a witness to the greater truth—the testimony of God concerning His Son, Jesus Christ. Therefore, continue to share what Christ has done for you with humility and boldness, knowing that God’s Word stands firm whether people believe it or not.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You that Your testimony is greater than the opinions of men. Give me courage to faithfully share what You have done in my life and wisdom to trust Your truth when others reject my testimony. Help me never to be ashamed of Jesus Christ, but to stand firmly upon Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
