Reliable Faith

Nahum 1:7 (NKJV)
“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.”
In a world filled with uncertainty, trials, and fear, we can rely on the Lord because His character never changes. He is good even when our circumstances are difficult, and He is a stronghold where we can find refuge when trouble comes. Trusting God does not mean that we will never face hardship, but it means we do not have to face hardship alone. Faith calls us to depend upon God’s strength rather than our own understanding, to rest in His promises rather than our fears, and to believe that He knows and cares for those who place their trust in Him. The Lord knows His children personally, and we can confidently place our lives, our future, and every burden in His faithful hands.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being good and for being my stronghold in times of trouble. Help me to place my faith and trust fully in You, especially when I do not understand what I am facing. Strengthen my heart, calm my fears, and remind me that You know me and care for me. Teach me to depend on Your strength and to rest in Your promises each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Your servant in Christ,
Tom
