Remain Faithful in the Last Days

2 Thessalonians 2:3 (NKJV)

“Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition.”

Paul teaches that before the return of Christ there will be a great apostasy, or falling away from the truth, and the Antichrist will be revealed. Even today, believers can see the danger of deception, compromise, and a growing rejection of biblical truth. Yet the answer to apostasy is not fear, but faithfulness. As the world moves further from God, Christians must remain firmly grounded in His Word, obedient to His commands, and committed to Jesus Christ. We must not allow false teaching, cultural pressure, or the fear of difficult times to cause us to drift away. Instead, we are called to endure, watch, pray, and faithfully serve the Lord until He comes. The darkness may increase, but believers must continue to shine the light of Christ and stand firmly in the truth.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, help us to remain faithful and obedient to You in these last days. Guard our hearts and minds from deception and keep us firmly grounded in Your Word. Give us wisdom to recognize false teaching, courage to stand for truth, and strength to endure whatever may come. Help us never to fall away from our faith, but to remain watchful, prayerful, and devoted to Jesus Christ until the day He returns. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your servant in Christ,

Tom
