Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
As the hours and days pass by, the world continues to spin in orbit in perfect time just as God set it into place when He spoke the universe into existence. But the world also spins internally with evil and wickedness and unrighteousness from sin that was birthed in the heart of man from the beginning. All the while many people of this big blue marble spin spiritually with nothing but evil continually.
Hmm, if my memory of Scripture serves me, I think I read something similar – say Genesis Chapter 6 – about Noah and the ark and God’s coming wrath… consider the passage below and let’s see if you see a similarity between the Ancient of Days and the here and now.
Genesis 6:5 5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
Quite amazing to see how history often repeats itself isn’t it? The things we used to, at one time, called good and virtuous, are now being called evil. And, what we once called evil is now considered good. The problem is that we are calling more and more “good” things evil.
Oh, we will cover it with subtleness and ambiguity like calling or labeling it as racism, judgmentalism, intolerance, or extremism to name a few. They will trade the good things for evil things like endorsing abortion, legalizing drugs, redefining gender identity, acceptance of sexual immorality, etc.
But in reality, bible prophecy is coming to light, just as in the days of Noah.
2 Timothy 3:1-17 “But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.”
Jesus also warned us that these days are coming and will intensify with great frequency, but also encourages us to remain calm and lean in on Him, and not fear what is going on in this lost and rotting world. Evilness will increase. Evil people will continue to rise up under Satan’s influence. But the good news is it won’t last forever. For a day is coming soon when the Lord will return and sit on the Throne to cleanse the earth and make all things new.
Revelation 21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
Don’t allow yourself to fall for the lies that are being spewed and perpetuated from evil and corrupt politicians, or false teachers. They are spokespeople for Satan. They claim their policies are good for you and good for the nation, but in reality, will cause a great falling away from God and His protection.
Luke 21:28 "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
